About BuildSignal

BuildSignal is a focused data-validation initiative for determining whether public building-permit records can produce reliable commercial-project intelligence.

The first prototype uses Seattle’s most recent 90 days of permit data. It preserves the source, measures quality, applies reproducible cleaning and scoring, and reserves AI for unstructured interpretation with explicit confidence.

The objective is not to rush into a dashboard or subscription. It is to establish what the data supports, where it fails, and whether further investment is justified.
